Source Energy Heat Pumps Scotland is an award-winning MCS accredited heat pump installer. With the help of a Home Energy Scotland Grant & Loan, you can make a considerable difference to your property’s energy performance and efficiency.

As an MCS Approved Installer, our clients can apply for grant funding of £7,500 (£9,000 in rural and island homes) and a further £7,500 optional interest-free loan on any of our MCS accredited heat pump installations with qualifying domestic properties. The heat pump can be an air source to water, a ground source to water, or a water source to water. The “to water” refers to the type of heating in your home. Hot water will usually circulate through radiators or underfloor heating circuits to heat your home. 

Home Energy Scotland funding is available for retrofit projects, helping homeowners install air source or ground source heat pumps in existing properties. It supports both energy efficiency improvements and the cost of installation, making the transition more accessible and affordable.

While funding does not apply to new build or self-build properties, projects involving extensions or upgrades to an existing home may still be eligible, depending on the scope of the works.
